Born in Bronx, NY in 1980 and moved to Puerto Rico, at the age of 6, running away from an abusive environment from her dad. Yahaira has seen the Lord work in wonderful ways in her family because of the prayers of her mom. Her mom was a single mom but always told them that they had the best dad anyone could ask for, our Heavenly Father. Yahaira graduated from Rexville High in 1998 and moved to Kissimmee. She worked for Publix trying to save for a plane ticket to go back but the Lord had different plans. She worked at Publix for six years, three as Department Manager where she met her best friend and now husband Ryon Green.
After marrying, she went to work for Washington Mutual Bank, as an Operations Supervisor, so that she could give more of her time to the Lord and her family. She retired from the bank in 2006 to become a stay at home mom which she wouldn't trade for the world. Today she has four kids, ages 7, 4, 2 and 1. The Lord has worked amazingly in her and her husband's life, giving them a vision for Children's Ministry. In 2007 the Lord brought them to First Baptist Poinciana and began to unfold that vision which today is a reality. Yahaira says, "The Lord never leaves me nor forsakes me; He is the one in whom I put my trust!"
